Dr Shakra is a consultant Neurologist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He has particular interest in inflammatory, degenerative diseases of the central nervous system and vascular neurology. He runs the clinic of dementia & Parkinson’s disease at SKMC. Dr Shakra has graduated from medical school of Damascus University in 1992 and received his main training in general internal medicine and neurology subspecialty in the major university hospitals. He carries MD, MSc and MRCP in medicine and neurology and additionally he has coauthored many articles in in the field of neurology.
