Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

The Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course emphasizes the need of using a comprehensive approach for assessing, detecting, and treating children's emergency situations. In order to provide successful pediatric care, participants learn basic life support, follow PALS protocols, and practice resuscitation skills. The training is for healthcare providers who deal with children's respiratory and cardiovascular issues, as well as cardiopulmonary arrest.

Physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and paramedics are all involved in respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary in children.
